Soap star Sarah Jayne Dunn has tied the knot with her personal trainer husband in front of Hollyoaks' co-stars

She may be unlucky in love as Mandy Richardson in the Oaks, but Sarah Jayne has"never had a moment of doubt" in her five year relationship with Jon Smith.

The gorgeous pair married at a swish ceremony at The Holford Estate in Cheshire over May bank holiday. They were joined by Hollyoaks friends Jodi Albert, Carley Stenson, Danny Mac and Ali Bastian.

Speaking with OK! magazine in the run up to the big day, Sarah said: "I knew Jon was the one for me the first day I met him.

"After we met at my audition I texted Carley [Stenson], saying: I have to get this job because I need to get to know this guy!"

Sarah and Jon, who are parents to 16 month old Stanley, got engaged at Christmas 2016 when Jon got down on one knee and popped the question in their home.

The couple threw an engagement party at Liverpool’s 30 James Street Hotel with close friends, then the Hollyoaks girls joined Sarah on her hen party in Leeds.

She also told OK!: "I said right at the start that I wanted to enjoy the planning process, I don't want to become a bridezilla."

Sarah looked sensational in a white lace fishtail dress and the sun was shining for her big day. John has said: “I feel so proud to call Sarah my wife.”

On screen, Sarah has played Mandy in Hollyoaks on and off for the past 22 years! She has endured many turbulent relationships with Tony Hutchinson, Warren Fox and Luke Morgan.
