We KNEW it! Congratulations are in order for Coleen Rooney who has announced she’s expecting a baby, her fourth with husband Wayne Rooney.
The fashion designer confirmed the happy news on her Twitter page on Friday morning after weeks of speculation that she was pregnant, as previously reported by Closer.
She wrote: “So Happy!!! Never denied the news, but I was always protecting it!! Had scan & all checks are fine….. Baby number 4 is on its way.”
The star, who is already mother to children Kai, Klay and Kit, was quickly inundated with congratulatory messages from her followers.
One person wrote: “Congratulations to you and @WayneRooney. The football team of Rooneys is nearly complete.”
Another person tweeted: “Congratulations! There is nothing more special or precious than a new baby.”
Someone else responded: “Congratulations to you @ColeenRoo & @WayneRooney. What perfect news!! I wonder if it will be a baby girl this time or another boy to the clan.”
And someone else replied: “Congrats Mrs Rooney. More Scousers on this planet the better.”
Coleen sparked speculation she was pregnant while on holiday in Ibiza earlier this summer when she was seen sporting a rounded tummy in her bikini.
But she chose not to confirm the happy news until now, recently writing online: “So basically… Yes on holiday again.. Yes I’ve put weight on.. And my kids break up earlier than most schools. Not missed a day while here.”
