So if you, like the Strictly Come Dancing host, like to waltz, jive, breakdance or just generally throw some shapes like you would with your mates on a Saturday night – you should definitely get involved.

The danceathon – as Comic Relief have called it – is a non-stop six hour event and will be taking place at London’s SSE Arena, and other locations around the UK, on 8 March.
Along with 2000 fundraisers, Claudia will be joined by loads of other dance loving celebs, including: Arlene Phillips, Chelsee Healey, Rachel Riley, Rufus Hound, Zoe Ball, Jo Whiley and Got to Dance’s Adam Garcia and Kimberly Wyatt.

“This just might be the greatest day of our lives,” Claudia said at the announcement.
“Wherever you live in the UK, if you like dancing, we’d love you to take part in the Comic Relief Danceathon. I am ridiculously excited.”
