Christine McGuinness has taken to Instagram to lament the loss of McDonalds – the “only food all three of [her] children would eat”.

Sharing a photo of a mammoth Maccy’s order in the front seat of her car from days gone by, Christine wrote, “I never thought I would wish for fast food for my children but as I expected the changes have affected them and two of my children are barely eating, it’s been like this for over 3 weeks now.

“This is not ‘fussy eaters’ this is down to struggling with change, massive change in their little lives. I know we are not alone, I’ve had so many messages about McDs.”

Christine and her husband Paddy, the former host of ITV dating show Take Me Out, have been open about their struggle to raise two autistic children, even admitting in the past that she “blamed herself” for their twins’ Leo and Penelope’s condition.

Although the housewife only appeared in series one and two, after shouting-matches and rifts, she definitely left a lasting impression on her co-stars. Magali even found herself wrapped up in a twitter-spat with RHOC star Ester Dee in spring 2018, when Ester claimed she didn't know who Magali was.

We were devastated when Lauren quit the show before series nine. Her on / off friend Dawn Ward said: "Lauren has some personal stuff going on."Lauren's an amazing person, I am missing her to bits. I speak to her daily but she has other commitments at the minute that she needs to concentrate on."In January 2020 it was revealed that Lauren's back. Yaaas.

Things became even harder last year whenChristine revealed their youngest daughter, Felicity, was showing signs of autism too.

She continued on the post, “If you know, you know.. McDs is a ‘safe’ food, it always looks the same, it tastes the same, the texture and smell is always the same.. and it’s beige and dry.”

Speaking on Loose Women in 2019, Christine was determined to look on the bright side of their unique family life.

Of the twins she said, "They’ve matured. They've been having one-to-one at school for 18 months, which has helped them with their self-care. We can deal with the tantrums better.

"We’ve got a good life, our children are happy and we have a home full of love - full of noise - but full of life. The children are getting to see people with and without autism, and they're making friends and it’s amazing. I thought it would never happen.

"When we first found out the twins had autism they were three and a half years old. We thought nothing was going to change but it does get easier."
