Craig is said to have called time on their relationship after it was alleged Chloe cheated on him with fellow X Factor contestant Stevi Ritchie.
Taking to Twitter after the reported break-up, Craig wrote: "People are defined not by their beliefs but by their actions.
"A persons character is defined by what they do when nobody is watching."
While Chloe is yet to comment on the reports of her break-up, Stevi was visibly emotional over their short-lived relationship.

He said: "I was hoping that I'd found love."
But his new best friend Simon Cowell was on hand to cheer him up. Treating him to a Harvester meal, Simon asked Stevi about his feelings for Chloe.
Stevi said: "I really like her, that's the thing."
But Chloe previously denied being romantically involved with Stevi. She told a UK newspaper: "[We're] just really good friends, although not as good friends as some of the papers are saying."
Despite being voted off early, Chloe has only nice things to say about the remaining contestants – particularly Andrea.
She said: "Everyone deserves to win, they are all amazing, but Andrea has given up so much.
"He has come to this country, to be on the show, does not speak the language and he is just so incredibly lovely."
