So it seems women just can't get it right when it comes to losing weight after having a baby.
While some are praised for shedding the pounds and toning up, others are body shamed for slimming down 'too fast'.
And it seems poor Cheryl has become subject to the latter.
After sharing a gorgeous shot of herself reclining in a bikini and kaftan while on holiday, a source told Closer Magazine she was shocked to receive negative comments from some of her followers.
Some cruel trolls described the star's weight loss as 'unrealistic' while other suggested she was a bad role model for other new mothers.
The source said: “Cheryl was shocked by the toxic backlash, especially as she was starting to get back to her self-esteem after feeling low about her body.
“She feels like her confidence has taken a knock and she can’t believe she’s been body-shamed again.
“She was hoping she’d be praised for it, so to have so much criticism was very hurtful.”
Her baby daddy Liam Payne has also commented on the effects of the online trolling the pair receive. He said: “People are horrible sometimes but you just have to remember how many people are lovely.
“A comment is a comment at the end of the day. You’ll forget about it in a couple of days.”
We're sure Cheryl will continue to ignore the haters especially as she's been making a return to the spotlight and heading back to work for L'Oreal in recent weeks.
In fact This Morning will be airing her first TV interview since giving birth and we can't wait! The ITV show isn't giving much away but did share a teaser video this week. Eeek!
In the clip, the 34-year-old says: "Since becoming a mam… that's how I see it."
Yup.
They're keeping everything she says top secret.
Although we do later hear her say: "When you're taking care of a baby 24/7."
