Cheryl has posted a rare social media update to wish Liam Payne a happy Father's Day

Whilst Liam Payne hasn't stopped talking about his new baby boy in interviews, Cheryl has kept very tight-lipped about her new life as a mum on social media since giving birth in March.

Apart from when she responded to a few tweets about her baby boy Bear.

But she's broken her silence once again to wish her boyfriend and father of her only child a happy Father's Day!

Whilst we're sure many of her fans were hoping she might post a photo of the little lad, she instead chose to post a pic of her beau looking rather brooding.

Alongside the photo, she wrote: "Happy 1st Father's Day Liam.. You are the most amazing daddy and the best example for our son.

"The way he looks at you says it all. Your relationship melts my heart. You are the centre of his world & We adore you 🐻🌎💙"

Aww!

Whilst we know that Liam is off promoting his new album, Cheryl has been staying at home basically bringing up Bear single-handedly.

But Liam posted on his Instagram story about his little boy, uploading a video of himself on a plane with the words "#happyfathersday" and "Miss you" with a litle bear emoji and a heart next to it.

How cute!

In the video, he told fans that he was leaving Buffalo in New York and heading to Milan, whilst forlornly saying: "Happy Father's Day me... What a great day."

Whilst we know that Liam is loving meeting his fans and promoting his music, it was clear to see from his videos and posts that there's a part of him which would much rather be at home with Chez and baby Bear.

Not long to wait, Liam!
