Cheryl’s set to release new music later this year and her upcoming album is said to have been inspired by heartbreak, following her recent split from Liam Payne.
It’s reported Cheryl's recorded a pop anthem called Let You – said to be the first single from the album - which allegedly talks about her ‘giving a voice to a man but forgetting about her own.’
“The track is a huge pop song and a strong contender to be the lead single for Cheryl’s comeback,” a source told The Sun.
However, they added that the although the song is about a ‘painful split,’ it was actually written before Cheryl and Liam - who are parents to baby Bear Payne - announced their break-up in July.
“There are a lot more deeply personal songs on the album, which has been co-penned with her former Girls Aloud bandmate Nicola Roberts.”

It’s also been claimed Cheryl has taken up yoga to help following the split.
According to The Mirror, she’s been seeking solace in the yoga studio to help clear her mind.
“Cheryl has really taken to yoga, it’s been keeping her in shape and giving her peace of mind. She loves it,” a source told the publication.

She tweeted: “I hate responding to stuff, especially at such a difficult time but I cannot sit here and listen to such nasty, false articles regarding my mam.
“I don’t know why they involve her in stories about me. I can assure you she has absolutely nothing to do with any of it.
“I am a grown woman who is capable of dealing with my own life. She is a soft and kind woman, who doesn’t deserve to be dragged into something that has nothing whatsoever to do with her."
