"I'm incredibly happy to welcome our new baby boy into the world, it's a moment that I will never forget for the rest of my life and my favourite memory I have so far.

"I'm completely in awe of his incredible mother and how she has been the whole way through this, she's really made my dreams come true. We haven't named him yet but he's already capturing hearts including mine.

The adorable couple who moved in together in February are now moving in Cheryl's mum Joan Callaghan to help out with the baby.

Closer magazine previously reported that both Liam and Cheryl's mums will move into the popstars home in Surrey. An insider said: "Joan and Karen are keen to lend a helping hand in the important but stressful weeks after the baby arrives.

"Also, Karen is a nursery nurse, so she has a lot of hands-on experience with babies.

"Both mothers are excited but have put a time limit on their stay as they know it's important for Cheryl and Liam to have their space – and quality time as a new family."

Chezza and her mum have always been extremely close. In the past the singer admitted she only trusts her mum and her dogs and now Joan – whose lives in Newcastle - will move into the couples house.

A source has said: "Joan will be very much on hand to help out Cheryl and Liam during the early stages of the baby’s life.

"It’s not going to be forever, but Joan has a room in the house and will be staying for however long she’s needed.

"Like any new grandmother, she just wants to offer as much support and possible, without treading on any footsteps," they told The Sun.

If you're wondering whether you'll see baby Chiam anytime soon we doubt it very much as it has been reported that the happy couple will NOT being doing any magazine deals with their son.

Cheryl and Liam started dating last year shortly after they both split from their previous relationships. The couple have remained fairly private but in November they stepped out and showed off their baby bump and in February pictures surfaced showing Cheryl moving into Liam's mansion.

Cheryl's brother Garry Tweedy, 28, and her mum Joan Callaghan, 57, were seen loading her remaining possessions into a large, white van. The mother and son were at the six-bedroom house in Hertfordshire that Cheryl previously shared with her ex-husband, French restauranteur Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini.

Liam's pad is also apparently super secure, as it has a top-of-the range security system, with cameras and heat and motion sensors. A source told The Sun: "The security is insane - every part of the house and grounds are in camera isolation zones, many heat and motion monitored."

Well, if it'll keep their little tot safe, why not!
