Cheryl is said to be 'disappointed' that fired L'Oreal model used her as an example during her ongoing race row.
Munroe Bergdorf was hired as the first transgender model in L’Oreal’s diversity campaign, but then fired for comments she made about white supremacism, in the wake of events in Charlottesville, USA, last month.
Speaking about the incident on Monday morning's Victoria Derbyshire show, she raised the fact that Cheryl (who was convicted of punching a black toilet attendant but acquitted of racially aggravated ABH back in 2003), was still employed by L'Oreal while she wasn't.
On the show, she said: "This has been world news and it's not something that should be world news,"
"I shouldn't be sacked for calling out racism when I was in a campaign that was meant to be championing diversity. And especially when I was speaking about the violence of white people."
Speaking about Cheryl's conviction, she added: "But then they've got Cheryl Cole on the campaign and she was convicted for actively punching a black woman in the face.
"I don't understand how I'm not 'in line with their values' but they will hire Cheryl Cole over and over again and give her more and more chances, but she was convicted for punching a black woman in the face.
"I think if you're going to put a woman who punched a black woman in the face and the face of diversity, that just says a lot about white privilege, which proves my point."

Quick to shut down Munroe's argument, Cheryl's management put out a statement, which read: "More than 14 years ago Cheryl was unanimously acquitted of a charge of racially aggravated assault,"
"She is disappointed to find her name involved in Munroe Bergdorf's media interview."
