Channele Hayes is reportedly seeking help over growing fears her weight may impact her pregnancy.

The former Big Brother star, who is already mother to six-year-old son Blakely with ex Matthew Bates, is currently expecting with partner Ryan Oates.

She is reportedly having tests to find out if she has gestational diabetes as a result of gaining weight which could lead to complications including premature labour.

A source told The Sun: “Chanelle has been undergoing tests to see if she has gestational diabetes. Her weight means she’s still classed as obese and she’s in the highest risk bracket.

“Chanelle’s upset and is really concerned about it. She once saw a television programme about a woman with gestational diabetes who ended up being hospitalised for three months. It’s a huge worry for her.”

The reality star made a success of posing in bikinis and her underwear after rising to fame and has released a number of calendars in which she proudly showed off her figure.

And in a bid to get back to her former self the model is taking daily, long walks and has cut out foods high in saturated fat, sugar and calories.

The source added: “Chanelle has made a promise to herself that as soon as the baby is delivered and they’re both fit and well she’ll be right back on the treadmill and on her way to a size 10.”
