Niall, 23, quickly won over the nation's hearts and became the fans' favourite with his cheeky disposition and lust for fellow contestant Kendall Rae-Knight, 26 (who then dumped him for villainous 22-year-old Adam Collard. Ouch).
We were DEVASTATED when we tuned in one evening to find that Niall had left the villa during the night due to 'personal reasons'. Some reports suggest that he left because of anxiety and stress, but nothing has yet been confirmed.
But one of Niall's friends has said that they think he might have left due to his insecurities about his looks - particularly his ears, which he had pinned back last year.
The source told Mail Online: "Before he got his ears pinned back, if anyone wasn’t interested in him or made a joke, he’d assume it was about his ears and put a hat on for the rest of the day just to avoid people seeing.”

He posted a photo in May 2017 after the ear correction surgery, with the caption: "Got my ears done 👂😂 #surgery #cosmetic #pinnedback #edgy #selfie #getyourearsout #bigup #lolz"
We're not sure where the Coventry student is or what he's up to, but we hope he knows just how much the nation (including us) fancy him.
What is ear correction surgery?
Ear correction surgery - also known as an otoplasty - is a cosmetic procedure to alter the shape or size of their ears, or to pin them back if they stick out.
It can cost a few thousand pounds to get your ears pinned back, or it can be carried out under the NHS if the ears are causing a person significant stress.
