David Walliams may be better known for his funny one-liners (mostly aimed at Simon Cowell!) on Britain’s Got Talent, but you’ll never guess what one of his jobs was before he got famous…
Some of you may remember that back in the nineties, Ant and Dec appeared in the children’s TV show, Byker Grove. After their acting stint, they decided to form a pop rap duo known as PJ and Duncan. They released three studio albums and their songs stormed the music charts.
Who can forget Let’s Get Ready To Rhumble?
But it has now come to light that their Britain’s Got Talent colleague, David, actually appeared in one of their music videos a good few years ago!
Eagle-eyed fans spotted David in the clip for their song, U Krazy Katz, in a sailor suit with a gigantic moustache.
The funny duo are trying to get into a bar where David’s character is drinking, and of course it’s as cheesey and hilarious and you’d expect!
But that’s not where the relationship ends between the three of them. Although we are all well aware of how long Ant and Dec have been working together, it has also been revealed that David actually used to write jokes for them before his own claim to fame alongside Matt Lucas in Little Britain.
When asked about his secret music video past, David said: “Yes, I was, OK, I was in the video… not one of their best songs!”
We’re sure Ant and Dec won’t want to hear you saying that!
