Caitlyn Jenner has made the heartbreaking revelation that she’s grown apart from some of her children in recent months.

The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star, formerly known as Bruce Jenner, has transitioned from male to female and is worried the change is too difficult for some of her kids.

The former Olympian now hardly speaks to some of the family she once lived with every day and spoke about her relationship with ex-wife Kris Jenner and her Kardashian step-daughters during an interview with Diane Sawyer.

Caitlyn said: “Some (of my children) I have remained very close to. A couple of them… I’m a little more distant.

"I have to admit, I’ll sit here and wonder, ‘Is it because of my transitioning? Or is it because their life is so busy that they don’t call, like, all the time?’”

She added: “Nobody calls that much. I mostly reach out to them. Obviously, the Jenner side calls more, but they all have their own lives.”

Caitlyn, who is also parent to Kendall and Kylie Jenner, admits she hasn’t been there as much as she could have been.

She said: “I dropped out as a parent. There’s no excuse for not being a good parent, no matter how many problems you have.”

The star debuted herself as a female to the world by posing for a Vanity Fair cover.

But she admits some of her children found seeing her on the front of the magazine in revealing clothes a little tough to handle.

She said: “I know my kids, they thought, ‘You know what, it’s a little too much. But, from my standpoint, I had suffered for 65 years.

“To have a beautiful shot of my authentic self was important and the shock value.”
