Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, who were together for twelve years, have both confirmed the separation. Angelina is going for legal custody of their six children.
Amidst accusations of cheating and drug abuse, shock new reports have emerged claiming that Brad Pitt is being investigated for ‘child abuse’.
TMZ reports that the actor is being accused of “physical and verbal abuse” – something that sources close to Brad have furiously denied.
The website states that he is currently under investigation
after an incident between Brad and his son Maddox, 15, happened on the Jolie-Pitts private jet, it was so bad that the event reportedly triggered Angelina to file for divorce.
TMZ state:
“He allegedly went wild, screaming and getting physical with the kids… the plane landed at an airport around 8 PM, and witnesses say Pitt continued his rant on the tarmac, and even tried leaving in one of the fuel trucks.”
The incident was allegedly reported to authorities either by someone on the plane, or a member of ground staff and both Brad, Angelina and their children were all reportedly interviewed by officials.
However, a source close to Brad vehemently denies all the allegations against him. They told TMZ: “He takes the matter very seriously and says he did not commit any abuse of his children.
“It’s unfortunate that people involved are continuing to present him in the worst possible light.”
Amongst the allegations towards Brad, the internet has been a-buzz on anything and everything Brangelina, with many delighting in what Jennifer Aniston's thoughts on the matter are. So far, Jen has kept a dignified silence.
However, her friend and comedian Chelsea Handler has gone IN on Ange, calling her a ‘f***king lunatic'.
In a video clip uploaded to Twitter, Chelsea rants:
“Brad and Angelina always said they wouldn’t get married until everyone could get married and I always said I wouldn’t get married until they got divorced.
“There are rumours that part of the problems were that Brad was allegedly drinking and smoking too much weed… I wonder why he needed to self-medicate? Maybe because he could’ve been at Lake Como hanging out with George Clooney and Matt Damon, instead of being stuck in a house with 85 kids, speaking 15 different languages… Oh yeah because he married a f***ing lunatic, that’s why.”
She concluded: “But we should all respect their privacy during this very difficult time, so this will be the last time I speak of this… On TV.”
