She’s best known for appearing in Keeping Up With The Kardashians when she was Rob Kardashian’s then-girlfriend and mother of their daughter Dream, who was born in 2016. But Blac Chyna – real name Angela White – couldn’t be more different from the controversial, feud-loving person she was back then.
The former stripper has transformed her life, becoming a born-again Christian, ditching her OnlyFans account and quitting cosmetic surgery. She exclusively tells Closer, “For my 34th birthday, I was like,
‘I want to get baptised’. I realised that I wasn’t living my life right.”
She continues, “I pulled back from people and parties and focused on myself and tried to pour more into myself and pour more into my kids. I just started putting myself first.”
Angela, 35, shot to fame as Nicki Minaj’s former body double in the music video for Kanye West’s 2010 song Monster. The following year, she appeared in the music video for the song Rack City by rapper Tyga. They began dating in December 2011 and had a son together, King Cairo Stevenson,
in October 2012.
They split in 2014 when Tyga began a relationship with Kylie Jenner, leading to a number of social media feuds between Angela and Kylie that ended when Angela started dating Kylie’s half-brother, Rob, in 2016. The pair had daughter Dream in November of that year and starred in reality show Rob & Chyna. However, the show was cancelled after one season.
After dating on and off while raising Dream, Angela and Rob split for good in 2017. In 2020, they agreed to share custody of their daughter, alternating across a weekly schedule.
But these arrangements for Dream hit the headlines last year, when Angela claimed that she had received no child support from Rob. He hit back, “I pay £37k a year for my daughter’s school. I handle every single medical expense. I pay for all her extracurricular activities. I have my daughter from Tuesday-Saturday. Why would I pay child support LOL?”
When asked if she’s now on good terms with her exes, Angela tells us, “I don’t know what good terms is, but what I will tell you is this – I’m getting what I deserve as far as time with my kids, and that’s all that matters. Moving forward, I’m not going to keep saying something that isn’t true and I’m gonna start standing up for myself.”
She adds, “I’m not going to say co-parenting is great like I’ve been saying all these years, being the better person when it’s not reciprocated. I think that’s very unfair. As long as my kids are good, I’m good.”
Angela says her two children, King, now 11, and Dream, seven, are close and admits she has a nanny to help with household chores so she can spend more quality time with them.
She says, “The four-year age gap isn’t that bad. They play together and anything that King does, Dream wants to do too and be a part of, and I just think that’s so cute.
“Having a nanny is a luxury, because I have time to spend with my kids. Having kids is a lot of work! I’m all about stability. I don’t fully involve them in my personal work, because they don’t need cameras in their faces all day, they just need Mum.”
Angela has previously admitted to having four boob jobs, getting lipo and having silicone butt injections when she was 19. She started an OnlyFans account in 2020 and was reportedly the website’s highest earner in 2022, raking in £16 million a month. But as a result of her newfound faith, she deleted her account last year and reversed some of the plastic surgery she had been “obsessed” with over the years.
She reveals, “I had my butt reduced from all the silicone shots. It was loose silicone and could, like, just go into my bloodstream and basically kill me any day.” She adds, “I got my cheeks reduced, and then I got my breasts reduced, because the implants that I had were so big. They were 34DD and now I’m a 34D.”
Angela – who was originally an A-cup – says she’d like further surgery to give her a B-cup. She shares, “I told my doctor, ‘I want to be a part of the itty bitty titty committee’, and he started laughing. Getting my boobs done made me feel great and it made me feel confident at first, but then I overdid it.”
As part of her transformation, Angela has also removed fillers from her lips, chin, jawline and cheeks and has been exercising regularly.
“It got to the point where one time I even put filler in my nose, in the bridge of my nose. It was just becoming too much, I was obsessed with it. I have Botox in my forehead, basically my whole face
was full of fillers. Now I’m eating right, working out and sober. I keep sweets in the house for guests, but me and the kids don’t eat them,” she admits.
Last September, Angela went public with her romance with rapper Derrick Milano. She says things are going well and he’s very different to her exes. “He’s confident, he’s not insecure. He’s not controlling, he’s not abusive or trying to use me for clout. It’s just how I picture a regular, good, healthy relationship. It’s no stress. When you’re with someone who’s not their authentic self, it makes you not be authentic,” she explains.
“I’m at a point in my life where I don’t have to be with somebody who does not make me happy.”
