Billie Faiers has praised her friend Ferne McCann after her emotional first interview since her pregnancy announcement
Ferne McCann's interview on This Morning yesterday literally had some of us in the Closer Online office welling up in tears.
Ferne understandably broke down in tears over the thought of facing pregnancy alone, but what was even more touching was how moved she was by the support of the public.
She explained that "single mums and dads" had messaged her on Instagram with their support, causing Ferne to become even more emotional.
Speaking to Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield on This Morning in her first interview since her ex-boyfriend Arthur Collins was charged with GBH for an acid attack, the 26-year-old said: "Because I'm pregnant, I think that has given me strength and hope to get through this.
"This isn't how I imagined my first pregnancy to be. But it's not about what happened. It is about this baby. I'm going to be strong. My main concern and priority is the baby."
Ferne did incredibly well not to have a complete breakdown under the circumstances, we think!
And it seems that her close friend Billie Faiers thinks so too.
Billie, who has two gorgeous children of her own, shared a touching photo of the two friends from back when she was pregnant where Ferne is lovingly kissing her blossoming bump.
She captioned the photo explaining how proud she was of her friend: "A little #throwback... I'm very proud of you for today @fernemccann. And so excited for you to join the mummy club. I cannot wait to share this amazing journey with you... Lots of wonderful times to come with our babies. Love you lots."
Billie then wrote the hashtag "best friends".
We're so pleased that Ferne has such a loving support network around her.
