Fans think they spotted a connection between Ant and Scarlett at the National Television Awards
Ant McPartlin and Scarlett Moffatt have left fans wondering whether there may be something more to their friendship after appearing close at this year’s NTAs.
After spotting them on camera together, several fans took to Twitter to comment on the ‘chemistry’ between the pair, sparking rumours of a romance.
One viewer wrote: “"Here's a suggestion. Ant Mcpartlin and Scarlett Moffat should get together. What a beautiful couple.”
Another commented: “Watch this space..... Ant and Scarlett @ScarlettMoffatt #couple #Ithinkso”
Some viewers even commented on Scarlett’s likeliness to Ant’s estranged wife Lisa Armstrong.
"Is it just me or does Scarlett Moffat look like a young Lisa Armstrong? Seems friendly with Ant. Watch this space!" a fan wrote on Twitter.
According to the MailOnline, a representative for Ant has denied any notion of a romance with Scarlett.

This comes shortly after Ant confirmed he had filed for a divorce after 11 years of marriage.
In a statement released earlier this year, he addressed the speculation that the marriage was over: “In response to the recent speculation in the media, Ant is very sad to announce that, after 11 years, he is ending his marriage to Lisa McPartlin.
“Ant asks for privacy at this difficult time, for both himself, Lisa and their immediate families.
"No further statements will be made."
It was recently reported that Lisa couldwalk away from the divorce settlement with £31million, as Ant is ready to give his wife half of his fortune in order to remain on "amicable" terms.
A source told The Sun: "It’s a huge amount but he wants Lisa to be financially and emotionally supported.
"He wants things to be amicable and doesn’t want a drawn out court battle with Lisa. He still views her as a best friend and wants them both to be able to walk away from the marriage positively."
