Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly are probably the nation's best-loved double act - especially if the recent National Television Awards are anything to to by. So, it's no surprise the pair would want to take precautions in case anything was to go, erm, horribly wrong.
It has recently been revealed that Ant & Dec have whopping six-figure insurance policies against each other in the devastating event one of them dies.
Speaking to Fabulous magazine, Dec revealed: "I insure him and he insures me.
"If something were to happen, then the other one would get a payout."
We can't imagine a world without Ant & Dec brightening up our TV screens, so we don't even want to think about this possibility.
Ant also added to the magazine: "It's six figures, I think. It's big!
"But it's not like anything evil is going to happen."
He then joked: "I think I would be the first suspect if we were together and Dec suddenly fell off a cliff! I've got a big motive."
A six-figure motive!
The pair also joked that the policy needed to be renewed soon but they had to "check the premiums" first, before deciding whether it would be worth it.
Ant & Dec were recently awarded an OBE. Our favourite Geordie duo were awarded the prestigious honour at Buckingham Palace at the end of January by the Prince of Wales, Prince Charles, for services to broadcasting and entertainment.
So we're going to say it's definitely worth the premium.
