They’ve been locked in a bitter feud for the past four years, and the drama between Lauryn Goodman and Annie Kilner continued to rumble on last week after the Celebs Go Dating star made a string of public swipes.
In a new twist, Lauryn, 33, leaked alleged Snapchat conversations with Annie’s husband Kyle Walker – the father of her son Kairo, four, and one-year-old daughter Kinara – and warned, “If you keep coming for me I will keep dishing out the FACTS. Believe me I have a BOOK load.”
And in another shock jibe, Lauryn’s nan even waded in on the saga, accusing Annie of being unfaithful.
Now, sources tell Closer that Annie, 32, is at the end of her tether with Lauryn, and, as she tries to focus on mending her relationship with Kyle, 34, she’s set some new rules for him.
An insider says, “Annie has made rules for Kyle going forward in their relationship to try to make things work. He is only dealing with lawyers when it comes to Lauryn and the kids – he’s not speaking to Lauryn directly. And Annie has said he needs to be more open with her, like letting her see his phone and messages. Annie obviously finds it hard to trust him, but Kyle desperately wants to make things work. He’s so relieved and happy to have Annie and he’ll do anything it takes to keep her. There’s hope that they can get back to a good place.”
Lauryn had Kairo with the Manchester City footballer in 2020 following a fling when Kyle had briefly split from childhood sweetheart Annie. The couple – who are parents to sons Roman, 12, Riaan, eight, Reign, six, and three-month-old Rezon – worked through the scandal and went on to secretly tie the knot in 2021.
But in December 2023, things came crashing down for Annie once again when she reportedly received a text from Lauryn on Boxing Day revealing that Kyle was also the father of her daughter – prompting her to kick him out of their £3.5million Cheshire mansion.
In a statement at the time, Annie wrote, “I am posting this in response to growing recent media enquiries about my marriage to Kyle and in an effort to protect my family against the intensity of the media spotlight. Sadly, after many years of marriage and three wonderful children together, I have decided to take some time away from Kyle. I do not wish to comment on the position any further. For now, I ask that the privacy of myself and our three young children is respected during this difficult time.”
Last week, speaking out in Lauryn’s defence following her on/off relationship with Kyle, Carole Elizabeth Shrader – believed to be Lauryn’s maternal grandmother – wrote on Instagram, “She (Annie) had her own affairs, not the innocent wife everyone believes her to be,” alongside a shocked face emoji.
It came as Lauryn faced trolling from her followers after uploading a selfie with the caption, “Behind every strong individual is a story that left them with two options. Sink or f**king swim.”
Responding to a comment on the post that read, “Annie is the only innocent party in all this”, Lauryn replied, “Is she? In my opinion from what I know I really don’t think she is.”
And just days earlier, Lauryn shared the purported Snapchat messages from Kyle on Instagram Stories, which showed him praising her as a “good mum” and expressing interest in her son’s life.
The source continues, “Annie has had enough of Lauryn – she’s sick to the back teeth of her. She will just not let it go. Annie and her friends believe that Lauryn might actually be behind the gran comment.
“It seems she won’t stop at anything, and now she’s stooping so low as to getting her grandma involved. She keeps dragging everything into the public arena, like the Snapchat messages, and Annie’s sick of it.”
It comes after Lauryn lost her court battle with Kyle after an explosive showdown over how much money she should receive for their children. His legal team blasted her for “insatiable greed”, claiming she used him as an “open chequebook”.
The judge dismissed many of Lauryn’s demands, which included a £30,000 car allowance and driving lessons for Kinara’s nanny, a £33,000 air conditioning unit, a £31,200 astro turf pitch and £500 a month for hot-tub maintenance. Lauryn was described as having “exaggerated her need to spend money”, while the judge ruled in Kyle’s favour, saying he acted with “dignity”, “generosity” and “honesty”.
But despite the verdict, Annie is worried that she’ll never be able to escape Lauryn and may need to take drastic measures for the sake of her relationship. The source adds, “Annie is potentially looking into restrictions against Lauryn because it’s never ending. Annie just wants to put it all behind her and for Lauryn to stay away.”
