...But amid the bitter legal wrangling, sources say Angelina Jolie's only concern is gaining full custody of her six children with Brad Pitt.
While the couple will share legal custody of their three adopted children - Maddox, 15, Pax, 12, Zahara, 11 - as well as their biological children, Shiloh, 10 and eight-year-old twins, Knox and Vivienne – Angelina has asked for physical custody - meaning the children will live with her while Brad will have visitation rights only.
A source says: "Angelina doesn't want a penny from Brad but she is determined to keep the kids. She was constantly torn between how she wants them brought up compared to how he wants to do it."
Reports emerged claiming that the children "ran wild" around the Jolie-Pitt household, and that it was even sometimes like living on a "hippie commune". The couple's very different views on parenting were said to have contributed to the split, with Ange taking an easy-going approach that clashed with strict Brad, who has publicly admitted to being a "disciplinarian" with the kids, leading to huge rows.
A source says: "Brad and Ange have very different parenting styles, and tension over their opposing views was getting unbearable."
