TOWIE legend Amy Childs recently unveiled a red hair transformation ahead of the new series of the ITVBe show but that’s not the only major change in her life of late as she split from her boyfriend Tim back in July.
The pair had been in a relationship for a year and a half, with Tim moving into her Essex home during lockdown, however reports claimed they called time on their romance after it “fizzled out”.
Amy has now opened up about the split for the first time as she revealed a series of rows had led to the breakdown of their relationship and admitted they’re no longer on speaking terms.
She told OK!, “Tim and I got together in lockdown. There was so much going on, I was seeing him and then he was there all the time, and before you know it I was in a relationship. It was all so 'guns blazing', but over the two years we did have problems and it wasn’t plain sailing. We did really try to make it work.
“We were with each other every single day and we were like a married couple. We couldn’t go anywhere, nowhere was open and you don’t really know someone until a good 18-months in and we just didn’t get on any more.”

Amy continued, “I can’t sit here and say he wasn’t good with the children, because he was, but I can’t stay with him because of that. I’ve had a lot of problems in this relationship, but I’m better, I’m now single and having a laugh on TOWIE.
“There were problems, he knew we were having problems and I woke up one day and said, 'I can’t do this anymore.'"

Since ending things with Tim, Amy has reportedly enjoyed a number of dates with First Dates star Billy Delbosq, with a source telling MailOnline, “Amy and Billy have been getting on like a house on fire, they're loving spending time together and going on romantic dates.
"Their relationship started online, which only made things more exciting when they finally met in person."
However, she remained tight-lipped on her rumoured new relationship. Amy said, “I’ve been on a few dates and he’s a nice guy, but I’m getting to know him.”
It sounds like she’s enjoying single life though, as she added, “Now I’m single and I’ve gone back to my red hair and I feel like I’ve got a new lease of life.”
