She’s reportedly set to splash out £7 million on a mansion in the upmarket village of Cobham in Surrey – dubbed “Britain’s Beverly Hills” thanks to its A-list residents.

And friends say Amanda Holden, 52, is keen to befriend her new VIP neighbours – who include Hollywood star Stanley Tucci and his wife Felicity Blunt (sister of actress Emily), Aaron Eckhart and Antonio Banderas – as part of her plan to crack the US and turn her family into global superstars.

A source says, “Amanda loves the idea of living among those with connections to Hollywood. She’s already planning to invite over all the big names who live nearby as she sets her sights on integrating herself into the A-list lifestyle."

“Amanda spent a lot of time researching areas and loved that Cobham’s dubbed the UK’s Beverly Hills, given her long-term goal is Hollywood. She has lots of exciting plans and hopes their new home will mark an thrilling new chapter, bringing her a step closer to her dream of turning her family into an internationally famous brand. She’s feeling like 2024 will definitely be her sassy new year!

“She loves the thought of living in a hub of celebs and getting a feel for what it will be like when she eventually lives in Hollywood – hoping that the connections she makes in her new neighbourhood could also help her when she eventually makes the leap.”

Last month, insiders told Closer how the Britain’s Got Talent judge – who’s married to record producer Chris Hughes – was keen to become “the next Kris Jenner” and propel her daughters – Lexi, 17, and Hollie, 12 – to fame.

It followed Lexi signing a modelling contract with Storm Management – which made Kate Moss an icon. Amanda also revealed how Hollie, too, had superstar qualities and is keen to follow in her mum’s showbiz footsteps.

Her latest mission to become the girls’ “momager” and move her family to LA was sparked by an Easter trip to the area, where she visited the set of America’s Got Talent and met with a string of US TV producers.

The source says, “Amanda’s hoping that eventually she’ll spend more time in LA, and have a home there, too, so she can assist her girls to break the US and help Lexi in her goal to become a star like Kendall.”
