Fans are worried as the former TOWIE star takes her quest for an 'ideal' image to extremes
After jetting off to Turkey to have painful liposuction and body re-sculpting at the start of the year in a gruelling bid to get her dream body, Lauren Goodger said that she was finally done with surgery.
The reality star, who admitted to a nose job in 2011 and a breast enlargement in 2013, told Closer at the time: “One thing is for certain, I'm not having any more surgery."
But insiders say Lauren, 31, is now having an increasing amount of procedures because she wants to be 'perfect' for her on/off boyfriend Joey Morrison – who is set to be released from jail after a nine-year sentence at the end of the year.
Lauren has been pictured recently with a number of celebrity cosmetic surgeons and fans have been worried about the drastic changes to her face.
After posting a picture of her plumped up pout on Instagram, one critic commented “literally becoming a cartoon character” while another added “she looks like a duck. Why people do this to themselves I will never know”.
A source says: "Lauren's deeply insecure and is constantly trying to come up with new ways to keep Joey interested as she's petrified he'll lose interest in her.
"She's convinced herself that he'll love the work and says by the time he leaves prison, she'll be his perfect woman.
"It doesn't help that Joey is extremely critical and every time she visits him, she comes back with a new idea of a procedure she wants because of something he's said which gets in her head.
"She doesn't care what anyone thinks apart from him and is obsessed with constantly trying to perfect herself."
