You can never have enough pairs of boots, right? Right. You need your work boots, your going out boots, your over the knee boots, your dog walking boots and the pair you-just-can't-bear-to-throw-away-even-though-you've-needed-to-get-them-resoled-for-years.
If you invest in a pair of well-made, timeless boots, you can usually rely on them to last you forever, which is both great for your bank balance and the environment.
Our style fave, Meghan Markle, is no stranger to rocking a pair of boots year after year. In fact, she's been spotted in the same pair of Kamik duck boots for many winters, and we're OBSESSED with them!
What are duck boots?
Duck boots, also called Bean boots, were created by Leon Leonwood Bean, the founder of L.L. Bean. In need of a boot that kept his feet warm and dry, Bean figured out that he could combine two types of boot - a work boot and a casual boot.
Since their inception, duck boots have caught on (big time) and now you'll see them in all walks of life - even on the catwalks of Fashion Weeks across the globe. If your feet get drenched on the way to work, you love a bit of adventure or just love the way they look, duck boots are for you.
Where can I buy duck boots?
Naturally, the actual ones that Meghan has worn sell out regularly, but luckily for you, you can buy duck boots in a range of colours, styles and at a variety of prices in most good retailers. Here are some of our faves:
