The highly anticipated John Lewis Christmas advert is officially here and as always, it’s a tear-jerker. Not only does it follow a sweet and heart-warming sister relationship over the years, it also showcases one of the most stunning fair isle jumpers.

Since the advert aired the £49 jumper has become a best-seller on the John Lewis website, with hundreds of people snapping it up. We’re not surprised at all, the jumper is equal parts chic and cosy – and perfect for pairing with your favourite shearling coat or faux-fur jacket. It comes in the gorgeous beige and brown colourway as seen in the advert, but is also available in beautiful navy and red.

If you haven’t seen the John Lewis Christmas advert and don’t know the jumper we’re talking about (seriously?!), then you need to watch it ASAP. This year’s advert is called The Gifting Hour and tells the tale of Sally who is on the hunt for a Christmas present for her sister. In magical Narnia style, she falls through a rack of dresses and travels through time experiencing different memories of her sister from over the years. It’s in John Lewis’ Oxford Street store, 15 minutes before closing, that she finds the perfect present.

Throughout the advert our eyes were often on one thing and one thing only, that fair isle jumper. If the star of John Lewis’ Christmas advert, Sally, has left you lusting after a cosy printed knit as much as us, we’ve rounded up all our fave fair isle jumpers from the high street.
