When is Bank Holiday?

You'll be pleased to know there are a few Bank Holidays this May, and one in August. These dates fall on 1 May, 8 May, 29 May and 28 August. This is for Early May bank holiday, the coronation of King Charles, Spring Bank Holiday and Summer Bank Holiday.

How to style your Bank Holiday outfit?

There are a few ways to accessorise your Bank Holiday outfit, but an accessory you can't do without is a pair of sunglasses. Whether you wear them as intended or wear them on your head and forget where you've put them (which is always the way), sunnies are a must for any summer outfit.

Depending on how casual or how dressy you're going, you might want to wear a brightly coloured clutch bag to add a pop of colour. However, straw bags are in for summer, so these might be the best choice for casual day drinking (and somewhere to stash the mini bottles of gin that you plan to take with you).

In terms of your shoes, a pair of platform trainers, summery sandals, or a pair of wedges are all suitable options for your Bank Holiday outfit. You can dress these up or down depending on your plans and you'll even be comfortable all day long (which, let's be honest, is the most important thing). Thank us later.
