If years of blow-drying, dying and straightening your hair have started to take a toll, you're probably on the hunt for a wonder product to rid your hair of dryness and damage to tide you over in-between salon visits.

Olaplex, known for its in-salon and at-home treatments, tends to be the first product you think of, but there's a new kid on the block - K18.

Haircare fans will be delighted to hear of the new brand, which has recently launched in the UK. Exclusive to Cult Beauty, K18 is changing the hair game with its revolutionary peptides, and some are even dubbing it 'better' than Olaplex. Wowza.

A decade in the making, the K18Peptide™ is a patented molecule that brings damaged hair back to its original, youthful state. Travelling to the polypeptide chains (the very innermost layer of your hair), it repairs and restores your hair to its former glory.

The K18 Leave-In Molecular Repair Hair Mask is now available in the UK in three sizes, and the best news? You can get your hands on it for just £9 for the smallest sized bottle.

It couldn't be simpler to use - all you need to do is shampoo your hair as normal, but don't condition your hair. Towel dry it, work the product through your hair and leave it for four minutes. Then, blow-dry your hair and marvel at your glorious new 'do.

Reviewers are already raving about its performance. One wrote, "This blows my beloved Olaplex out of the water! My hair is so soft and incredibly shiny - I can’t stop looking at my hair. I get the best results by washing twice with shampoo, then towel drying my hair and using this (I split into sections and lather in my hands so it turns white and I can see where I’m placing it). I wait 4 minutes and go back in with my conditioner as I am prone to tangles. This is a game-changer!"

While another said, "I never leave reviews but I’m so impressed with this. I have bleached hair, that is coarse and always on the drier side. I religiously use Olaplex and have tried every bond building and hydrating product imaginable but I’ve never seen such a marked difference in my hair as I have with K18. It feels wonderful, looks healthy and shiny and has wonderful movement. I’m honestly so impressed."
