Love Island’s Harriett Blackmore reveals the ‘perfect’ £9 foundation that she tells everyone to buy

Now it's officially the season of knitwear, pumpkin-spiced lattes and saying no to plans in favour of Strictly - our obsession with Love Island season 11 seems like a distant memory. The Islanders may no longer be squabbling in a Mallorca villa, but since leaving the show, generously shared plenty of tea, show secrets and beauty recommendations.

The latest make-up trick to get our ears waggling is served by indisputable icon Harriett Blackmore who shared that her all-time favourite base for filming is actually a £9 BB cream from Amazon. We love an affordable queen.

Speaking via heat's Self-care Sunday, the 24-year-old shared, "I always wear the L'Oreal Age Perfect BB Cover, £9 I use it all the time. People always ask me what I use on my skin and it's that.

She continued, "I love it because it's just so affordable and the coverage is amazing. Obviously, it's a BB Cream and it's so good for your skin.

"Whenever I go out, all my Instagram DMs are asking, 'What foundation are you wearing?' And I'm like, 'It's not foundation, it's a BB cream." It's so affordable, I tell everyone to buy it. I had a meeting with my manager who asked what I was wearing and I was like, 'Babe, you need to get this!'"

The Age Perfect Skin Tint is one of L'Oreal's lesser-known products, but has all the makings of a true masterpiece. It's lightweight whilst delivering ample coverage. It evens out redness, contains SPF50 and is infused with skin-loving ingredients that improve your complexion over time.

"On the show, we used the Lansinoh nipple cream, £6.59 on our lips," Harriett told heat. "That sounds so weird but it honestly gives you the most amazing glow. Everyone in the villa would just be putting nipple cream on their lips. I honestly can't use anything else."
