There is something about achieving the perfect glow that can mean the difference between having the best day with countless hot AF selfies and wanting to never have your photo taken ever again. Dramatic? Yes. True? Also yes.
Of course, we all know that the Charlotte Tilbury Beauty Light Wand or Fenty Beauty Killawatt are guaranteed to give you that million-dollar golden glow, but sorry, not all of us are former Love Island stars or TOWIE regulars with beauty products at our disposal.
But do not fear for we have searched high and low, tested once, twice and a million times over to provide our loyal readers with the most superlative highlighters on the web and the best part? They're all under a tenner.
You are so welcome.
The best budget highlighters 2024
We assume this product is called the Halo Glow Highlight as it was designed by the cosmetic angels and truly is a gift from heaven.
It comes in three different colours; one with a rich gold base, another with pinky tones and finally a cool pearl colour all equally as shimmery as the next.
There is also a blush and contour wand in the Halo Glow range which work in perfect harmony with the highlighters. The tubes do seem surprisingly small compared to other wands but you don't need a great deal of the product to create the desired look.
As far as powder highlighters go the Revolution Reloaded is a creamy delight. This particular product comes in eight different colours, from a yellow-hued shimmer 'Golden Lights,' to a gold-speckled bronze, 'Time to Shine,' there is a shade suitable for every skin tone.
If you want to achieve a super shimmery look you will need a fair bit of product but just use a damp brush and you'll be a dewy-skinned queen in no time.
If there was ever a Charlotte Tilbury copycat product that deserves the hype it’s the Collection Cosmetics Filter Finish Wand. At quite literally a fraction of the price this truly does offer a filter finish and is gloriously pigmented. Our only complaint is that at the moment there is just one shade in the highlighter collection, HOWEVER, it is a stunning golden hue so we won't kick up too much of a fuss.

We know what you're thinking, 'A PENCIL?!' But bear with us. NYX always offers up top-tier products, have you tried their Lift & Snatch brown tint pen? Absolute life changer.
This jumbo highlighter is no different and helps NYX reign supreme as one of the best high-street beauty brands. Add it to the tip of your nose, dot in the corner of your eyes, smudge on your cheekbones and highlight your brow bones in seconds.
There are a few different shades and prices vary depending on which colour you pick.

The Lottie London cheeky glow highlighters come in four stunning shades; champagne drip, peach bellini, rose bubbles and golden glaze. Even the names scream glam goddess.
Although the cushion wand makes for a smooth application, be warned they can be a TAD messy. Clearly, the product is hella excited by the prospect of being applied to your lovely face and can shoot out at quite the speed; ending up all over the tube.
But when you get the hang of it, the results are stunning.

The pigmentation on the KIKO holiday highlighter is unparalleled and at the moment it is discounted at just £9 which is an absolute steal. The design is ideal with this product as a little goes a long way therefore the teeny tiny nib is perfect as we don't ALWAYS want to look like a Twilight vampire.
Although if you do want to channel your inner Edward Cullen, by all means, chuck on the whole tube.
