I get upset if my man of two years looks at other women. I think it’s because he’s admitted he prefers large boobs. I have small breasts and now feel inadequate. He works nights and sleeps during the day and I know he masturbates. We have sex once a week and he snaps if I try to initiate it more.

You’re justifiably feeling insecure because your partner is rejecting sex with you – and not in a terribly sensitive manner. Could it be that his sex drive is lower and he finds it hard to admit it because it’s not “manly?” Is he lazy? It takes a lot less effort to masturbate than it does to have sex with a partner.

Body clocks might also be to blame if he’s working nights: does he simply fancy sex at different times? All can be solved with a calm conversation where you tell him how upset you feel. Let him know the chat is very important, don’t accuse and keep talking until you understand what’s going on.
