Things started off well enough; the Brazil crowd were buzzing, they were excited, they were feeling GOOD about their semi-final World Cup match against Germany.
But then the game started.
And, as their national team were demolished 5-0 in just the first half of the game, the mood quickly changed amongst Brazil fans.
First of all, there was confusion.
Then fear…
Then grim acceptance…
Then there was just utter, utter despair.
But it was this guy - the guy who'd pinned all his hopes and dreams on his country winning the World Cup 2014 - who really gave us a lump in our throats.
Oh dear.
Congratulation s to Germany, at least!
