Sarah Colewas attempting to relieve her eczema when she mixed one cup of bleach into her normal bath water - claiming she was told by a specialist to do so.
But the 29-year-old mother was admitted to the burns unit after the incident, which left her with her skin red raw and peeling.
Ms Cole claims she sought advice about her skin condition from a specialist, and recalls him saying she should bathe in the common cleaner for some relief.
Scarily, Sarah didn’t start developing the burns until two days after the bath - when she bagan shaking and found she couldn’t walk or talk.
Her partner rushed her to hospital, with the situation quickly getting so serious that her parents began planning for her funeral.
Now the young woman is trying to deal with the scarring she has as a result of her ordeal, which she says covers her from ‘head to toe.’
