A post-it was left at the entrance to a woman’s house, telling her that the author doesn’t ‘appreciate FAT people wearing bikinis/short shorts.’

The writer continues, telling the woman: ‘Please cover up or I will report you. You disgust me. I didn’t move here for this.’

They sign off with a simple: ‘Also, cover up when walking your cat.’

Cripes.

Social media users have reacted with anger at the ‘cowardly’ and ‘rude’ note, which was posted on a door in Queensland, Australia.

And surprisingly people have been quick to defend the woman, with one quoting a study from the University of London which suggests people who are shamed for being overweight are more likely to become obese.

They also shirk exercise for fear of ridicule.

Obviously people have been outraged by the cruel note and the suggestion that this woman shouldn’t be happy in her own skin. But the real question on our lips is - are people walking cats now?
