The woman shared a photograph of herself to Facebook, with her top lifted up to show off her bare baby bump.
But, unlike most mums-to-be, she wasn’t excitedly showing off her bundle of joy to the world.
In fact, according to the caption accompanying the shot, she was actually hoping to offload her little one in exchange for something else she desperately wanted.
Namely, money or drugs.
She wrote simply: “6 months pregnant, don’t want it.
“Willing to trade it for $ or drugs.”
The pregnant woman continued: “Guaranteed white, so don’t come at me cheap.
“Serious offers only.”
The post has been shared on several social media sites, including popular blog Lamebook, where it has sparked outrage.
Some have even called for the woman - who remains anonymous - to be arrested, before her unborn baby comes to any harm.
However it remains unclear whether the post was intended as a joke or not.
