The charity fundraiser, 41, ended a relationship, started a new job and moved house in a short period of time, and struggled to cope.
Shirley Jensen was hailed as an ‘inspirational leader’ by her charity colleagues, and had previously overcome drug addiction to embark on a successful career.
Her mother recalled Shirley telling her: ‘Three of the most stressful things that can happen to a person have happened to me at the same time - I’ve ended a relationship, started a new job and moved house.’
When Jensen failed to turn unto work one morning, Police broke into her house and found her body with a note reading: ‘I’m sorry.’
A self-help book called ‘Letting Go’ was also found next to her.
Her mother paid a heart-breaking tribute to her, saying: ‘She was a very loving and beautiful young woman. I have great faith and a belief that I will meet her again one day and she will reveal all.’
