Pregnant Yasmin Cook, 19, was devastated when she discovered cheating boyfriend Liam Shaxton had given her chlamydia.

He confessed to having a one-night stand before Yasmin, 19, discovered she was pregnant with their second child.

And, tragically, the STI passed on to their unborn child.

Yasmin lost the baby at ten weeks as a result of the STI - but has chosen to forgive Liam, 20, for the sake of their two-year-old son James.

She told The Sun: “It was bad enough finding out my boyfriend of three years had cheated on me but to find out his infidelity killed our unborn baby has been unbearable.

“Nothing could have prepared me for that news. I worry I’ll never be able to get over it.”

She added: “It has been hard to forgive Liam — but losing our baby made him realise how serious his actions were.

“It breaks my heart that our baby had to pay the price for their cheating… but he is really sorry for what he has done. Forgiving him hasn’t been easy and we still have a long way to go but I want to make things work for our family and our future.”

Liam added: “I’m really sorry for cheating on Yasmin.

“It was a mistake and I never meant for her to lose the baby. I’ll never forgive myself."
