According to the Daily Mail. Hanan Mahmoud Abdul Karim gave birth to her son via C-section last month, but was alarmed when her stomach started ‘vibrating’.
The 36-year-old appeared in good health when she left the hospital, but family members reported seeing her stomach moving.
Her mother told a newspaper in Jordan: “My daughter suffered serious pains and could not move.
"I brought her back to the hospital where she was treated but nothing was done for her.”
Karim was then taken to a different hospital where a foreign object was found in her abdomen, but it has not been specified if foreign object WAS a mobile phone or not.
A spokesman from the Jordanian Health Ministry has blasted the claims, calling them ‘baseless’ and ‘fabricated’.
Jordan parliament member Slim Al Bataynah has now called for officials to give up their positions in an act of solidarity with the woman
He allegedly told reporters: “In countries which show respect to their nations, and following such scandals, governments usually resign.
"The parliament should show responsibility and be on the level of the case.”
