Finding the right outfit to wear to a wedding is a very stressful situation.
First of all, you have to find something that isn’t white, because overshadowing the bride might get you into a bit of trouble.
Then there’s having to decide between a dress, a trouser suit and a skirt whilst being able to find more things that match, like shoes, lipstick, handbag, etc.
And this is all before you even have to think about the weather situation OR the sheer embarrassment of coming face to face with someone who is wearing the exact same thing as you.
However, the last thing you expect when you attend a wedding is to be criticised for the outfit you eventually decided to wear.
Especially when there was nothing wrong with it in the first place.
This is exactly what happened to American native Liz Kreuger recently, and she decided to tell the world about her horrible experience.
Taking to Instagram to showcase the dress that got people riled, Liz explains her wedding ordeal.
She captioned the snap: “If only I knew that choosing this dress for a wedding on a 90 degree day meant so many women would be outrightly rude to me, and even come up behind me slap my ass as I'm standing alone.
"As quote 'it was a dare from her friends, bc I was a target.' And then proceed to spill a full beer down my arm. Just one of maaaaany acts of kindness of the night!
“Yup. That happened. Good thing for thick skin, being able to laugh at things and not take it personally, and good friends/hubby by my side.”
Liz has now launched an anti-bullying campaign after her post went viral all over the world called ‘KruegerKindness’.
You go lady!
