Maria Neal, 48, was expected to die after she suffered a serious stroke.
"He played it to mum with tears rolling from his face onto hers"
But her family weren't ready to give up on her, keeping a constant vigil by her bedside.
Her daughter told The Metro: "We spent hours talking to her and trying to find anything that we thought would stimulate a response."
For a week, nothing happened. Until her husband decided to play her their wedding songs.
"Dad downloaded their wedding songs onto his phone and played them to mum with tears rolling from his face onto hers.
"This broke my heart but she started to move her right arm and a couple of days after this she started nodding."
The power of love can really make wonderful things happen, can't it?
The family are now hoping to raise £30,000 so that Maria can be cared for at home in Gravesend, Kent, with her loved ones close by.
