Seven-year-old Avery Harriman was diagnosed with leukaemia when he was just two years old.
Following treatment he went into remission, but the cancer sadly returned in 2012.
Avery underwent a bone marrow transplant, but the cancer emerged yet again earlier this year. The brave youngster was admitted to hospital for 23 days of exhausting and gruelling chemotherapy.
The video- which was uploaded onto YouTube by Avery’s father Chris- shows the amazing moment that he finds out he is allowed to spend a few days at home.

He will now have to wait and find out if the treatment has been successful. If so, Avery will have to undergo a second bone marrow transplant.
Speaking to CBSsports.com, dad Chris said: "There’s no way to sugarcoat it. It’s a bad deal.”
