The YouTube social experiment follows Joey Salads as, armed only with a cute puppy, he approaches the mothers of young children playing in a park.
He then asks the mums whether they believe he would be able to persuade their children to walk off with him.
“I’m pretty sure she’s not going to talk to you,” said one mother firmly. “But you can try.”
Having obtained permission, he then approaches each of the three children in turn and asks them if they would like to stroke his puppy.
All of the three children agree and, even more horrifyingly, Joey Salads is then able to persuade them to walk off with him.

Unsurprisingly, the mothers were stunned at their children’s behaviour.
“Just because you see somebody with a dog doesn’t mean you go home with them,” one firmly tells her little boy, with him safe again in her arms.
“You don’t know him.”
The video has already had over 2.6 million views - and viewers have revealed how terrifying they found the footage.
One commenter revealed: “I really have to thank you for doing this. I was lured to a strangers house, molested and beaten.
“Simply telling your child to not talking to strangers will not prevent your child from going through the same thing I did. You need to be 100% vigilant all the time and so do the responsible people around you.
“It took all of 30 sec for my molester to get me into his house and he had gotten a hold of several kids before molesting me.”
