It was just a normal day for these people, queuing patiently for a bus earlier this week.
But, without any warning, the ground beneath them gave way and at least five people were swallowed up into the ground.
Incredibly those injured in the incident all survived and managed to get out.
In the footage you can see one individual desperately clinging to a pipe which stopped him falling deeper.
The hole, in the northern Chinese city of Harbin, was reportedly 10m sq and two metres deep.
It’s thought the authorities are now investigating the cause of the sinkhole.
