It’s the age-old question, would men be able to cope with the painful experience that is childbirth?
Two men decided to find out once and for all if childbirth is as painful as us ladies tell them it is.
The men were joined by their partners as they began the process of experiencing the artificial labour pains.
‘Don’t talk to me right now,’ one of them barks at his other half as the pains become more intense.
Once they were finished ‘giving birth,’ the men then took some time to appreciate the women in their lives.
He turned to the camera and addressed his mum when he said: ‘Of anything that I just experienced is anywhere close to what I did to you all those years ago, I’m sorry. You’re like a super hero.’
‘You’re one tough mama,’ they added.
The clip comes as men from China’s Nanchang City volunteered to be hooked up to a machine that enabled them to feel intense contractions as though they were going through labour.
One man who tried the labour pains on for size said: ‘It was too much for me… The pain was terrible.’
Most of the participants couldn’t last more than 30 seconds strapped to the machines.
