When Jessica Hickey found out she was pregnant, she decided to meet up with her dad and tell him the happy news.
She bought a baby shoe and hid it in a little box with a note attached.
When her dad opened the box he acknowledge the shoe but needed prompting to actually READ the message attached.
He gave a look of disbelief before being overcome with emotion.
Jessica’s mother passed away 20 years ago and her dad had been asking for grandchildren since she met her husband.
