Dog lover Gritta Goetz took in the dogs when they were left disabled, after being used for target practice in Bulgaria.

Gritta decided to upload videos to Youtube of her canine friends, including one of a dog named Rina, who was left needing a doggy wheelchair after two bullets damaged her spine.

The animal lover wrote online: "After a year in which they had not left their safe box in fear of loud people, Rina plucked up the courage and the miracle happened.

"Rina's first walkies in a wheelchair were after her old owners had used her in Bulgaria as a target and about 20 projectiles had to be surgically removed from her body.
