A child's heartbreaking poem to her father has sent the internet into a teary flutter- and probably boosted Kleenex's sales.

This youngster decided to vent her frustration at her dad in a productive way- by filming a powerful and raw rap exposing his apparent shortcomings as a parent.

Although some suggest the video starts off slightly awkwardly, the talented child soon catches viewers' attention with her sad one-liners- even freestyling after becoming emotional.

Starting the video off, she raps:

"I'm trying to forget all the times you weren't there. I came down for you, and now you're gone- you call it curfew, I call it gone."

Adding that she 'understands her father will never be a man', she breaks down, but quickly adds that she 'shouldn't even be crying right now'.

Sending her father a clear message, she at one point heartbreakingly says:

"In Order for you to insult me , I would first have to value your opinion."

Tragically at one point she disowns him, concluding: "I don't even care if he gets shot."

The video has amassed 235k views in just a day, with some comparing the American youngster's talent to a 'young Nicki Minaj'.
