Faux app ‘Kinder’ promises to make it easier for children to find friends that they will get on with.

CLOSER SPEAKS TO TINDER FOUNDER WHITNEY WOLFE

In a video clip advertising the app, children are shown explaining what they look for in a ‘play date’ with some youngsters being more picky about who they want to spend time with than others.

The ‘app makers’ highlight that the feature does not in anyway encourage children to ‘date’ each other, with one little boy telling the camera: “I’m not looking for my soul mate, I’m six.”

GUY POSTS HUGE LIST OF 'DATING DEAL BREAKERS' ONLINE

Though the advert is intended to be light hearted and entertaining (and there are benefits of encouraging children to learn about technology from an early age) there are understandably concerns about safety over children being able to contact strangers online.

Would you let your children use an app like ‘Kinder’?
