German Mountaineer Jost Kobusch uploaded the two minute clip to his YouTube page, which shows the effect of the devastating earthquake in Nepal, which has so far claimed 3,000 lives.
The 22-year-old adventurer and his fellow climbers were completely engulfed as the avalanche hit, managing to scramble into their tents at the very last moment.
Disturbingly, the video starts out relatively normally, before the climbers start to say they can feel ‘the ground is shaking.’
Suddenly, they notice the huge wall of snow, ice and debris is hurtling towards them, and they dive into the nearest tents they can get to.
After waiting for the all clear, the climbers can be heard discussing making a break for it to the ‘kitchen tent,’ which we can only assume is larger and would provide more protection given a further avalanche.
‘Stick together, stick together’ the climbers are told as they are seen running towards the kitchen tent.
The death toll for the Nepalese earthquake is currently at 3,000, with about 65 people from the UK still being listed as missing.
There are also 120 people still stuck at the devastated Everest Base Camp, as rescuers struggle to reach them following the avalanche.
