In 2008, distressing CCTV footage emerged showing a woman collapsing in A&E, with staff ignoring her predicament for 45 minutes- by which time it was sadly too late.
A group of French videographers have now run a social experiment, to test whether attitudes have changed since then.
Sadly it appears they haven't.
The first scene shows a casually dressed male seemingly collapsing in the middle of a busy street, and despite his desperate screams for help, no one comes to his aid. Five minutes later, not one has stopped to check on him.
In the second recording a suited male collapses in the middle of the street, and within seconds multiple members of the public rush to his aid.
The only difference, is their appearance.
What would you have done if you were a passer-by in this video?
